A diagnostic accuracy study examined how well the 42-point modified Mini-Balance Evaluation Systems Test (mini-BESTest) can identify disability levels defined by the Expanded Disability Status Scale (EDSS) in people with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS). The research explored the tool's discriminative capacity as a potential clinical measure for detecting EDSS-defined disability thresholds in this population. Findings may help physical therapists select appropriate balance assessments for MS patients in rehabilitation settings.
