This exploratory randomized controlled trial compared two foot intrinsic muscle exercises—the short-foot exercise and the toe-curl exercise—on movement control during single-leg landing in patients who had undergone ACL reconstruction. The study examined whether these exercises differentially influenced lower-extremity movement patterns relevant to reinjury risk. Findings may inform clinicians selecting foot and ankle training strategies during post-ACL rehabilitation programs.
